Now that everything has calmed down for us after the wedding, honeymoon and the festive period I wanted to e:mail you to thank you again for standing in at the last minute to play for our wedding on 17th November at the Queensferry Hotel last year. It was a relief to get somebody at such short notice but to have a band of your calibre more than exceeded our expectations. You certainly got the party going. We had a fantastic time and the whole day was everything we had hoped that it would be and more. Not only that but all of our guests commented on how good the band were and how you played a great selection of music to suit everyone. By all accounts everyone had a great time especially us and I would definately recommend you to anyone who was looking for a band for their wedding
Hi Tammy
Honey moon was fantastic and so was our wedding day.
I would like to thank you all for helping to make it such a memorable day.
A special thank you to Cameron your Piper for the part he played at our
wedding service, and also for giving our French Friend William the chance
to have a go at trying to play the bagpipes a day the French won't forget.
The sun shone, everyone was happy , food was fantastic and to top it all
off everyone danced the night away wish it could have lasted longer
Thanks

Hi Tammy
Thank you so much to yourself
and the band for making our wedding a special one. Everyone has commented
on how great you were and the music selection was great (although Neil
wasn’t too sure of what to do at the end – I should have explained! The
music selection catered for everyone’s tastes, I would recommend you to
anyone who was looking for a live band.
I will definitely go to the
vows awards and mention you today when I have a break.
Thank you again for a fantastic
evening, and a very memorable one.
Hi Tammy,
Just a quick email to say a massive thank you for making our wedding reception complete. Gordon and I had a fantastic time and were totally delighted with the way you managed to make our choice for the first dance sound - 10/10. We had hoped to wow our guests with a dance that we had been practising for the last four weeks, but the groom got stage fright! From the feedback we have had so far from our guests it would appear you were a huge hit and it was great to have people on the dance floor all night (although I feared for my life when the girls decided to throw me up in the air!) and the Irish Jig idea was brilliant. It was great for Gordon and I to look round and see everyone clapping and cheering and really enjoying themselves. So thanks again.

Hi Tammy
I’m sorry I’ve been meaning to get back in touch with you since we came back, I can’t believe either how quickly the time has gone! The honeymoon was great, just trying to get back on with everyday life now! I would love our comments added to the website and I’ve been on the awards website and put comments in.
“What a wonderful job you did at our wedding reception on 14th July. The mix of music was excellent and the dance floor was never empty. So many of our friends and family have commented on what a wonderful band you were. Thank you so much for making our wedding reception so memorable.”
Jenny & Steve Cameron. The Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry, Dundee 14th July 2007
Hi Guys,
I just wanted to thank you all so much for a fantastic wedding night, I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty – apart from when the pie’s were being served!
Everyone of our guests said the band were amazing and they really enjoyed your wide variety of music, we especially enjoyed the river dance at the end…. I’ve never seen my Dad enjoy himself so much before!
Thanks again you really did make our night.
Best wishes

Hi Tammy, Colin & Cameron ( hope I've got all of the names correct)
Thanks for your email. Married life is treating us very well thanks. Slowly
coming back down to earth after the wedding and amazing honeymoon in Bali,
Lombok and Hong Kong! A luxury second honeymoon sounds very tempting! Of
course we will go onto the website.
I was meaning to drop you a line anyway to say what a fantastic evening
reception we had. As you could see no one wanted to leave the dancefloor,
especially the bride and groom! We have had so many comments from our guests
on the great line up and range of music to suit all ages including our
seasoned ballroom dancers, to the young ones to the thirtysomethings. The
props also went down really well during the break - even my dad had the
'wig' on he said! Everyone enjoyed the ceilidh too - but maybe I'll need to
give them a few more lessons on the dashing white sergeant for next time! We
really loved the ending when all the bridal party and ushers were surrounded
by family and friends showing off their dance moves and Loch Lomond and Auld
Lang Syne were very poignant. We just didn't want the party to end and would
love to have an anniversary party at some point in the future - watch this
space.
In terms of your service, from start to finish it was always courteous,
attentive and friendly. Feel free to add this to your website.
All the best,
Lorraine & Matt Chambers, Roman Camp, Callander, 22nd June 2007

Mixed Emotion were first class performers. They played to the crowd and more importantly got the crowd involved - My Best Man done an impromptu rendition of 'Sweet Caroline' by Neil Diamond and almost stole the show.
Tammy and the Guys were very friendly, thoroughly professional and ultimately just good fun. They helped bring a party to a party and rounded our big day off in style.
So again and on behalf of the new Mr and Mrs Bennison, aka Craig and Julie, may we thank you you so very much and ask that you pass on our warmest thanks to the band.

Hello guys it's Brian and Tracy here, you performed at our wedding in Burnhouse Manor last February, and i would just like to say thanks for giving us such a excellent and flawless performance. We could'nt have wished for a better band, and everyone we spoke to after the wedding all commented on how good you were, even now in April people are still talking about how they loved the band, no mention whatsoever about how handsome the Groom was in his kilt which was a bit upsetting, but never mind, so Thanks again from Brian and Tracy and good luck for the future. xxx
Burnhouse Manor Hotel, Beith, Feb 2007
What can I say? The wedding was fantastic and the music was even better; it completely blew most people away and lots of people asked how on earth we found such a fab band!
1st waltz was amazing (though I'm sure our dancing could have been a bit better!) so many people commented on what an original choice of song it was and how lovely and sultry the band sounded throughout. You made the wedding completely memorable- and I'm sure you guys enjoyed the dance floor being filled, even if most folks had already consumed one or two to get up and dance!
Have to say, (one lady to another) your outfits were stunning and Mixed-Emotion as a complete package for entertainment delivered exactly what they said they would in a highly professional yet fun manner! I have to say the Ceilidh music went down rather well.........
Would recommend you to anyone who is looking for a professional lively band for any event and we look forward to hearing more about Mixed Emotion in the future! Maybe at our Anniversary party or something similar you never know!!Thanks once again, and please do not hesitate to contact if there is anything Jon and I can do to help spread the word of how fab Mixed Emotion are.....
Wishing you lots of luck
in the future.

...thank you for the truly wonderful job you did at our wedding reception. I can honestly say you have been the single most talked about thing - and it has all been very positive! We had a fantastic time and we owe a lot of this to you - not once did we have to worry about filling the dance floor - every time we looked it was full to bursting! I've always been aware that weddings are made or broken on their evening entertainment - we picked you with this in mind and we were certainly not disappointed. We are more than happy for you to use any of our comments and we will continue to recommend you to all of our friends. Thank you again, - Pamela and Andrew -Rothesay Pavilion - May 2006
...just a quick email to thank you again for a fantastic night!!! we just got back from honeymoon on Saturday, and after catching up with a lot of people since our wedding , they are all saying what a fantastic night it was , and We have no doubt it was down to you guys, we will have no hesitation in recommending you in the future, thanks. Mark + Janna, Huntingtower Hotel, Perth, April 2006
To all the band members of Mixed Emotion, a big huge massive thank you to you all. You really were 110% perfect and made our wedding reception one to remember! Everyone that attended has passed on such positive feedback and I feel its only fair to pass it back onto you. Everything was excellent, the mix of music perfect to suit all ages and the dance floor was never empty as I’m sure you noticed! It all went so quickly… On behalf of every single guest and of course ourselves, thank you for helping to create such a fantastic atmosphere and genuinely making the night. Katie and William Fleming, Lovat Hotel, Oct. 2004
I thought I would send an email to yourself to pass on to Mixed Emotion, who we had play at our wedding at Oswald Hall. Everyone had a great night and thoroughly enjoyed the bands performance. The feedback from our guests was very positive and David and I enjoyed them also. Thank you, Marie and David Gordon, Oswald Hall, October 2004.
"..., We can’t thank you enough for your choice of group for last Saturdays 60th Birthday Party. “Mixed Emotion” were superb; punctual, well prepared and thoroughly professional in their singing and instrumentation – fantastic to listen and dance to. Eighty five people made up the party and all had the greatest praise for this young trio; remembering this is an age group from 20 to 70+. They were so fluid in performance with a fantastic range of music keeping the dance floor permanently full. They were very approachable and finally just three great guys who, without doubt, made the whole party buzz. Len and Cathie Patrick, The Cariston, May 2005
Mixed Emotion were outstanding. They are in a league of their own! Their performance was excellent – first class! The music was varied and suited all ages. We would definitely use Mixed Emotion again, they are very nice, pleasant people, and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Elaine Nolan, Tinto Hotel, July 2005
Mixed Emotion were fantastic, we have received compliments from many of our guests. The band exceeded our expectations making it a truly memorable night. Thank you very much. Kathryn & David Irvine, South Beach Hotel, July 2005
